joergfischer
Hi. I get a virus warning from the Trend Micro office scan since last week. The file "movie[1].qtl" is infected by "XML_Hack.ao". My site IT group complained about visitting your forum. Could you delete that virus and mail me when the forum is safe again, please? Forum Admin
I'm informed that the issue has been resolved by the keepers of the forum. Sincerely, Marc Hello, regarding the forums. On December 19, I checked the data and files located here are not and were not infected. All pages were inspected and no malicious code or spyware was embedded on those pages. This matter was referred to the hosting service for the forums for further investigation. On December 20, I received a reply. The cause was determined to be in the core Linux operating system. Here is the message from their help desk... --BEGIN-- We have discovered the issue was with the Linux kernel itself on the server operating system. None of your data is lost or hacked. We have applied a patch to this server that should hopefully correct the issue. Please let us know if this continues to occur. --END-- If you continue to have issues with accessing the forums, please contact me personally.
