Michal_Brun
Hi, I'm trying to install Kaluza 2. During installation I get the following error: Service 'hasplms' failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services (see file attached) I'm running the installation as administrator on windows 10. Would appreciate your help to resolve this. Thanks,Michal
Ernie
Hi, Sorry for your problem. The hasplms service is part of the copy protection for the software. It's part of the "Sentinel HASP" product from Gemalto. When people encounter issues with this we ask them to confirm that they have administrator rights (you said you do) and to temporarily disable their virus checker. You might try that. Sometimes just rebooting is enough to make it work; it's a little touchy. Failing all of that, you might try googling for "Sentinel HASP" to see what other people have tried - many products use this and the issues aren't unique to Kaluza.
