Kaluza not opening, error 99999, windows 10

Recommended Posts

I have downloaded kaluza trial software but it does not open and gives an error 99999. I have looked at the forum and the troubleshouting document but the solutions to this problem are only given for windows xp or w7 and I am using windows 10. Could you please provide a solution?

Sincerely,

Mar

The previous user's problem turned out to be because Kaluza was storing information in a directory which was a subdirectory of a folder which had their user name in it, and that user name had unusual characters in it. They were able to resolve this by avoiding the use of that directory. We'll fix this in the next release. If this could possibly be your issue, try another user name and see if that fixes the problem. If you don't think that's what's going on, please send me a private message with your email address and I'll contact you directly.

The work around is to uninstall Microsoft.NET using the add/remove software tool and then run the Kaluza install wizard and this will re-install the old version of Microsoft.net ... this works until you PC runs its next windows update, when you have to do it again!. This has occurred at our institution on numerous PCs Windows 7 and 10 running Kaluza V1.5 and V2.0.

Removing Microsoft.Net on windows 10 is barely impossible and even by removing updates or just by uncheck microsoft Net in windows fonctionality it 's didn't solve the issue are you sure that Microsoft.net is at the origin of the issue ? If it's the case have you the solution for windows 10 ?
